Currently, Cairistíona is an artist in residence at West Lothian College in Livingston, Scotland where she is continuing her practice, running workshops and leading talks. She completed her studies at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design with a First Class Bachelors in Fine Art. 

Cairistíona won the Alan Wood Memorial Prize, given by Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, for her dissertation "An Analysis of Memory Within the Works of: Rachel Whiteread, Susan Philipsz, Emma Talbot and Ann Hamilton." Cairistíona is working with BOOM Graduates to publish this in 2024. 


In 2022 she had the opportunity to study Sculpture and Installation at OCAD in Toronto, where her experiences added to the work and have brought it to where it is now.
